My practice centers around providing virtual Neuro-Affirming therapy and coaching to neurodivergent teens and adults.
I also provide support to clients diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). These conditions are often seen in higher rates in neurodivergent people myself included. I find that when you are living with multiple complex chronic health conditions it can be very validating to work with a therapist who truly gets it.
I am able to see clients from the following states: Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Vermont or Virginia.
*Pro Neuro Counseling does not participate with insurance.

Radically-Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
I am Level 1–certified in Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), a modality designed specifically for people who lean toward “overcontrol”—including many autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, gifted, perfectionistic, or chronically ill adults.
RO-DBT is a social-emotional treatment that emphasizes openness, flexibility, emotional expression, and genuine connection. Unlike traditional skills therapies that focus on reducing behaviors, RO-DBT deeply respects the client’s temperament and nervous system. It views traits like conscientiousness, sensitivity, intensity, loyalty, and deep thinking not as problems, but as strengths that can become painful only when environments are invalidating or relationships feel hard to navigate.
In my neuroaffirming practice, RO-DBT supports clients in:
reducing masking and self-silencing
expanding emotional expression without shame
building meaningful relationships without abandoning themselves
understanding their bio-temperament rather than fighting it
developing skills for flexibility, safety, and authentic connection
RO-DBT’s framework aligns beautifully with neurodivergent needs: it is non-pathologizing, trauma-informed, compassionate, and built around honoring your natural wiring while creating more ease in daily life.

RO-DBT Skills Classes at Pro Neuro Counseling
Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) Skills Classes are supportive, educational spaces designed for individuals who lean toward overcontrol—those who often feel “too much responsibility,” “too much self-restraint,” or “too much vigilance,” especially in social contexts. These classes gently teach the core RO-DBT skills that help increase flexibility, openness, and authentic connection without pathologizing who you are.
In our neuroaffirming approach, we honor your nervous system, your sensory needs, and your lived experience. RO-DBT isn’t about fixing you—it’s about offering tools that help create more ease, resilience, and social safety while respecting neurodivergent pacing, communication styles, and boundaries.
RO-DBT Skills Classes are offered as a structured series, typically running 27-30 weeks, depending on group needs and scheduling. Each class focuses on one specific skill, using accessible teaching, real-life examples, and optional home practice to support integration at your pace.
If you’re someone who tends to hold a lot in, mask heavily, or move through the world with quiet intensity, these classes can offer a validating, skill-building space to breathe, reconnect, and be understood.
$50 per RO-DBT Skills Class
Each class is 60 minutes and it is strongly recommended that clients continue their individual RO-DBT sessions concurrent with skills class.
